Silent Auction
You may recall we hosted a silent auction for a family who had donated their mothers two refrigerators and new stove to HDHM for the less fortunate, expecting nothing in return. We turned it around and provided a silent auction for the three appliances with all proceeds going directly to the family enabling them to bury their mom with no insurance.
I am pleased to advise all three items received plenty of bids, and along with 7 other generous plain donors receiving no appliances, we will be sending a check to the family for $1,000.00 which they are not expecting. Thanks to all who participated in this worthy cause. Peace
