Scooter Winner A Success
You may recall we were blessed with a donated $3,000.00 mobile scooter last week, and received several e mails from folks who had a need. The HDHM selection committee thought the e mail below was a well deserving handicapped person who should enjoy the freedom this scooter provides. See photos below.
Hi my name is Emily and my mother Anne has been suffering from multiple sclerosis since she was 25 she is now 64. She has trouble walking; she has lost almost all feeling in her left leg. Most days when she is trying to walk she ends up falling and hurting herself. God has blessed her though the doctors said she should have been in a wheelchair a long time ago. The time has come now though that I feel she is in desperate need for a wheelchair or a scooter. Recently my father’s boss canceled their health insurance so there is no way they can afford to buy an electric scooter. My mother is such an amazing woman. I have 6 sisters and 2 brothers. My parents had 4 of their own and then adopted 5 including myself. They also used to be foster parents and served in our church diligently. Recently my parents have met a lot of financial difficulties and this would be such a huge and welcomed blessing from God!! Please Please Please take my mother into consideration for this blessing!

I heard from Ann and she told me "If I am chosen, I would be able to take it with me when Ken and I go to visit our grand babies in Alabama and go to the Alabama State Fair because I haven't been able to do anything like that for 15 years.
This is what the HDHM Ministry is all about, but we can do nothing without your generosity. My personal thanks to Joe Bupivi whose late wife has no further need for this scooter that she loved so much.
